The house is located next to the building of the History Museum. It is situated in a restored Renaissance house from the 1860s, owned by a corn-merchant from Balchik. Here can be seen exhibits connected to the everyday life and the livelihood of Balchik’s people, as well as authentic artifacts, tools, clothing and ornaments used and worn by the local population. Especially impressive are Dobrudzha’s fabrics. Investing all her skills, artistic taste and sense of harmony and beauty, Bulgarian women created various fabrics with beautiful colors and ornaments intended for household use and decoration. Natural additions to the clothing are the various ornaments: for the head (headpieces, earrings, pendants, chin pieces, ear pieces, pins), for the neck (necklaces), for the arms (bracelets and rings), for the waist – belts and buckles.
